How to Treat Bad Breath
The most common cause of bad breath is failure to take care of your teeth and gums. Clean your teeth after every meal, and use dental floss or dental sticks to clean between them. If your gums bleed, it’s a good indication they’re infected and are the cause of the bad breath. If the bleeding doesn’t stop after a few days of flossing, see your dentist.
Bad breath can also be caused by bronchitis and infections of the nose and throat. The problem should clear up when the particular ailment has been cured. Constipation does not usually cause bad breath.
