Height x spread: 10-20 x 20cm (4-8 x 8in).

Leaves: Grass-like tussocks, hairy, light green.

Flowers: Close, brownish-green spikes, yellow anthers, early to late spring.

Other features: Creeping rootstock, also spreads freely by seed. Perennial.
