Height x spread: Up to 150 x 30cm (5 x 1 ft).

Leaves: Dark green, narrow, veins reddish, edges wavy.

Flowers: Rose-purple, 2-3cm (1 – 1-1/4in) across, in a tall spire, summer to early autumn.

Other features: Slender pods release white fluffy seeds in autumn. Germinates on burnt ground. Perennial.
